Children’s BEDROOM MAKEOVER

I converted an old, neglected room into a bright, welcoming children’s bedroom using the alcoves to create storage areas while adding and creating a feature wall.

Project overview

Problem: The customer had recently had their second child and wanted to turn their spare bedroom into a children’s bedroom suitable for a girl and their new baby boy. The bedroom had become a bit of a dumping ground and was in a bad state of repair.

Fix: After removing the fixtures from the old room, I had to re-plaster all the walls and ceiling. I built two wardrobes and added shelving to maximise storage. The client chose neutral colours suitable for boys and girls. A wallpaper feature wall was added along with brand-new flooring and skirting boards.
