Garage conversion

I converted a garage in Angmering, West Sussex, into a functional living area that provided additional indoor space while adding value to the property.

Project overview

Problem: The customer worked from home a lot more frequently now and used her kitchen table as her office. She had an incredibly long garage that was not being used to its full potential, so she decided to convert it into a home office.

Fix: We split the garage into two, leaving one half as a garage and the other half as her new office. We removed the old window and opened it up to add a patio door, which added more light to the room. I insulated, boarded and plastered the walls and ceiling, added a new floor with skirting boards and painted it white, giving the customer a lovely light home office.
